The Name of Jesus

People need to understand the power in the Name of Jesus when used in faith. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe."- Proverbs 18:10. Even though the believer has been delivered from the power of darkness, he still lives in a world dominated by satan. The Name of Jesus is a weapon for us to use. Jesus inherited His name from God. The power in His name can only be measured by the power of God.- Hebrews 1:1-5. Jesus got the authority of His name by defeating satan.- Colossians 2:15. His defeat over satan in hell-Hebrews 2:14. and He took the keys and the armour in which satan trusted, and gave us the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven- Luke 11:21-22. We need to get a hold of the fact that Jesus has purchased and taken the keys back from satan and given them to us. This gives us, the believers, a right to use them and have our needs met in every realm of life. There is a force and power behind the Name of Jesus because that is how God set it up; to put everything under Jesus' feet, thus under ours. Smith Wigglesworth had a remarkable revelation of this fact and he acted on it accordingly. We have a bought, purchased right to use the Name of Jesus: to cast out demons, heal the sick, and to conquer over the powers of darkness in all areas. We have His Name and authority.

The whole right to use someones name is the whole right to His complete authority. On the grounds of Jesus' victory over satan, we have a legal right to accept Jesus as our personal Saviour and enter into the Kingdom of God. " But rather seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not little flock; for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the Kingdom"- Luke 12:31-32. We have a right to everything good that exists- I Corinthians 3:21-22.

We have a legal right to all Jesus accomplished:
1: eternal life
2: victory over satan, sin, sickness, demons and fear
3: a home in Heaven
4: use of the Name of Jesus in prayer
5: the Fathers care and protection
6: a sons place in the Family of God
7: the indwelling of the Holy Spirit
8: a redeemed body at the appearing of Jesus
9: to be translated at the appearing of Jesus
10: an inheritance in the new Heaven and new earth
11: to live with our Father throughtout eternity in the Throne Room

Praise God we have this access to these things by what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Wigglesworth brings this out in all chapters of his book.

Trinity naysayers

The old testament was written in hebrew, the new testament in greek. you can look up words in either a greek or hebrew lexicon and get the actual meaning of those words in the original languages the Bible was written in. Words in hebrew and greek have different meanings than in the english language. There are many instances in the Bible where the text could not be properly translated into the english language because no english words existed for exact translation from hebrew or greek. Bibles today reference these differences to give the reader the exact understanding from the original writings of hebrew or the new testament greek. One of the first facts of this instance that blew me away was the first reference of the name God in the Bible; "And God created......" in the original hebrew language the word God refers to a plural pronunciation, as in more than one, as in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. If your plans are to study the Bible it will be very important to obtain hebrew and greek translators or a Bible with a lexicon built in. The english language is just to primitive to understand some of the revelations you will come across in your studies.

RIGHTEOUSNESS

There is a force of righteousness that we have with God. That if not excercised can hinder every prayer you make. Righteuosness is the ability to stand in the presence of the Father without a sense of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority- as though sin never had existed. God has made unto us righteuosness through Christ Jesus- I Corinthians 1:30. People must get a hold of this and act on it the way God wants you to and then you will go boldly into the Throne Room and make your needs known, and get them met- Hebrews 4:16. Smith Wigglesworth ministered the righteousness that people had in God right along beside of faith. The Word says faith without works is dead, faith without corresponding action will not work- James 2:14-26. If someone that doesn't know what their standing is with God, how are they going to act on their faith? When they feel unworthy. The ones who receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteuosness will reign in life by Jesus Christ- Romans 5:17. If you can believe you are saved, you can believe you are the righteousness of God: its all the same faith in God.

Jesus displayed the effect of the force of righteousness at the tomb of lazarus- John 11:32-44. Jesus didn't stop and wonder if He was in enough right standing with God to perform something like this. Jesus stepped out in faith, knowing His right standing with His Father. Smith Wigglesworth understood his righteuosness, he accepted the Blood of Jesus and the commands that Jesus told him to do, heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, deliverance to the captives, raising the dead, etc. Wigglesworth, in his book, raised the dead once, but it has been documented of him raising the dead at least 3 times in his ministry career; he understood the right standing he had.

The sin consciousness is ever at war with the righteousness consciousness. The sin consciousness never acts boldly, it always hesitates. Jesus never heistated about doing something that would bring glory to God. The sin consiousness requires some physical evidence that God is moving, the righteousness consiousness knows God is moving because he asked Him to- Hebrews 10:1-2, 10-14. Righteousness cannot be obtained by works. In Romans9:30-32 the jews went about to establish their own righteousness by works. They did not attain to the Abrahamic Covenant , which stands alone on the priciple of grace through faith- Genesis15:6. Wigglesworth done great works but he did not obtain righteousness because of them, the works proved his faith. Righteousness which is by faith speaks; "But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise,..."- Romans 10:6. People must learn to depend on the free gift of righteuosness that they have recieved. The believer must understand that he has complete access to the power of Jesus and the working of the Holy Spirit, that Heaven is backing him 100 percent. This righteousness, knowing who you are, will produce peace, quietness, and assurance- Isaiah 32:17 that God is there and you don't have to feel no condemnation. We are not honoring our place as sons if we do not take our place in righteousness

Smith Wigglesworth

Smith Wigglesworth in the book Ever increasing faith outlines some indepth and simple means to obtain a miracle and healing. Smith Wigglesworth was an apostle some 60 years ago in Bradford England. His ministry took him all over the world proclaiming the full counsel of which not many have heard. The basic instruction that Wigglesworth states is having faith in God. Mark 11:23-24, The Word of God is SUFFICIENT in all cases. What we need to do is get a hold of the realization that God is looking for people that will stand on His word and receive needs met in ALL areas of life. Wigglesworths book mainly deals with faith and conditions that have to be met in obtaining a healing and keeping it. Although the book mainly deals with healing, Wigglesworth emphasises that remission of sin, healing of the sick, deliverance, and the fullness of the indwelling spirit all come from one source; Jesus.

Faith

It is impossible to please God without faith; Hebrews 11:6. We must understand that faith moves God and nothing else. God is bound by His Word, He has already established and set in motion the principles and conditions that MUST be before things can happen; faith moves God. God is eager to help anyone, He is waiting for anyone to step into that realm of spiritual instead of mental to where He can move and bless people abundantly in spiritual and material needs. When you get born again faith comes, the measure of faith, regardless of feelings; Romans 12:3. The God kind of faith comes to "whosoever will" Mark 11:23. Faith is considered a gift of God, when you believe according to the Word for what you need; salvation, healing, financial needs, etc. Faith is now, if it isn't now it isn't faith. The principles of faith are the same in receiving in any area; Holy Spirit, healing, finances, etc. The Word explains that faith is "The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen"; Hebrews 11:1. Back in Mark 11:23-24, Jesus used the figure of a mountain when He talks of faith getting things done; why? wigglesworth put it like this, that if faith can move mountains it can move anything. Jesus was smart, when He taught on the different subjects in the Bible He used the illustration of a mountain because, of course, the size and stability of it. That even though it was fixed, the name of Jesus could root it up and cast it into the sea.

Jesus also spoke to the wind in Mark 4:39 and the wind ceased and was still. You may have a mountain in your life, wigglesworth states many miraculous happenings in his book and many healings: wigglesworth, "these things were mountains in those peoples lives, and the only thing that rooted them up was faith in the Word that the name of Jesus could do the job. The Word tells us to speak to the natural world, speak to the things that hinder and disrupt you; Hebrews11:3, God created the world by speaking it into existence; Gen. 1:1. "And God said....." believe those things which you say will come to pass; Mark 11:23. We need to start believeing in our own words, "I believed, therefore I have spoken"; II corinthians 4:13. People must get a hold of the fact just because they use the name of Jesus doesn't mean results; without faith and belief backing it up. The name of Jesus can manifest it in the spiritual realm, but it takes faith to have it manifest in the physical. It states in the Word that we partake of Gods very nature; success, love, power, etc. by the Word; II Peter 1:3-4. It takes faith to believe something like this, when people do get a hold of things like this then they need to act like its so; faith without action is dead!- James 2:17.

Smith Wigglesworth instilled this kind of faith when ministering to someone who had an "impossible" disease, and thought they were going to die. Wigglesworths' faith overcame those barriers of unbelief and selfpity and got the job done, he had the faith that overcomes the world- I John 5:4. Faith is very much connected with rightousness. You must believe you have the right to ask for something, in faith, before you will recieve it manifest. Smith Wigglesworth goes indepth with the rightousness that we have with God.

To start with

one thing you must always remember. If your prayer seems to go unanswered, the problem never lies above. "All good things come from above".
